Julie Wassmer answers to questions.
Parmesan and Pistachio Nutters
100g 4oz soft butter
50g 2oz semolina
85g 3.5oz self raising flour
75g 3oz grated parmesan
pinch of dry mustard
s & p
40 pistachio
Put all ingredients except nuts into a food processor. Whizz. Roll dough into 40 small balls and push onto baking sheet, roughly thick £1 coin size with a pistachio nut in the centre. Bake in preheated oven (180C) for 15 - 20 mins unitl pale golden brown. Watch. Take out and serve when cool.

Recipe for Carolyn's Canapes
Ingredients:
375 gm ready-made puff pastry
200 gm grated parmesan cheese
1 egg
pinch cayenne pepper and tablespoon of fresh finely chopped thyme.
Roll out pastry to approx 1/2cm thick, brush with beaten egg, then scatter with 75 gm of parmesan, thyme and cayenne pepper.
Fold pastry in half, press at the edges to seal, roll out flat again and repeat with another 75gms of parmesan.
Fold as before and roll out again till 1.5cm thick and chill in fridge.
Heat oven to 200C. Line baking tray with greaseproof paper.
Take pastry out of fridge and brush with egg again, scatter with sea salt and more parmesan. Cut pastry into long strips about 1cm wide. Place each strip on baking tray, bake for 8-9mins.
So simple even a Man could do it?!
